Hi all, I spend my time mostly in the 73-79 area, but I have a dilemma that you may be able to help me with.
I am considering trying to swap a 67-72 dash into a 77 f150. I prefer the look and layout of the older one. Can anyone give me measurements of the dash for comparison? Where are the mount points to the cab? Are they signifigantly different from the 73-79 models?
Don't know measurements but I do know I was in a 78 (I think, it definatly has the 73-79 body lines) F600 20' ramp truck and the dash and everything inside was identical to 67-72. It had the 67-72 dash cluster and all.
it should be the same. the only major change to the cab is exterior sheetmetal and an additional 4 inches added to the back of the cab in 73. the floor pans are even the same.
