just have a few hundred miles over 30K. and it seems like the suspension is driving like something with 100K on it. any else feel the same. dont haul anything too often and the most i ever had in the bed is about 1200 pounds. and truck hasnt really been offroaded either. anything have the same problems?
truck doesnt lean like it has bad shocks just seems like i cant take turns as fast as before. the steering doesn feel as sharp i guess.
air pressure is good, and i rotate about every 10K or so. i know the tires wearing down but i still have quite a bit of tread left. maybe i should just get new tires now and see what happens. i was just hoping my suspension parts aren't wearing already since the truck does sit a bit lower than the first day i had it.

Take a look at my gallery and you will see that my truck has not had an easy life. You will also notice that I never had the factory tires on the truck from day one and that I am currently on a second set of tires. The tire change doesn't reflect wear, but rather a change in my place of residence (you should see the mud that we are dealing with right now).
As far as I can tell the handling is pretty much the same at about 30 000 miles (that's 50 000 km here in Canada) as it was when I bought the truck. The rack and pinion steering was, and continues to be, far more precise than the recirculating ball steering on my 02 F150 ever was.
I guess what I am trying to say is, yes, suspect the tires. That would be the first thing that I would change.

I feel a little movement in the steering wheel on slow speeds when going over bumps
How many miles on your truck, Is it a 2x4 or 4x4..How do you drive it..It could be your rack and pinion ,tie rod ends, ball joint's etc etc.. need more info to be of service to you
30K 4x4 supercrew. dont drive too hard and i dont offroad it. im sure its the tires i dont really care anymore, since i dont drive it much because of gas. i am currently driving my bmw, and that thing handles. and in a few weeks once i get it done my new daily driver will be an 89 325i. about 2500 pounds and almost 200 horses, that car even with its 14 inch wheels feels like a gocart compared to the 4x4 tank.
Coming up on 94k miles on my '04 4x4, I feel the front end starting to loosen up and the handling is definitely not there anymore, which is no suprise considering the miles. I think it needs a new set of shocks and ball joints. Once I hit 80k I really noticed it, but up until then it handled like new, so at 30k, you shouldn't really feel a difference unless something has worn out prematurely.
I would jack up the front of you truck...grab you tire and shake it see if you have any play..I did this and had bad outer tie rods..Replaced them and the slop is gone but still getting a little banging noise over speed bumps..time to replace those upper control arms..only way to change out your your upper ball joints(thanks ford) not one zerk fitting any place from the drive shaft to the front end steering and suspension..and this with 20000 miles
