First are there bushings or something in the pivot that mounts between the frame and bellhousing? And if so do they need to be lubed or replaced on any schedule?
Second is there a proper adjustment point to were the clutch ingages. I generaly adjust them so that they are fully ingaged about 3/4 of the stroke on the way up.
I think that you are talking about the mount on the side of the motor (bellhousing) for the clutch? If so, there is a plastic bushing in there, but I've never lubed one. In fact the only reason I know it's there is because I had one break off before. Seems like there may be a grease zert on the end of the assembly though? I've always just adjusted the clutches so that they engage an inch or two off the floor. Not sure that's right or wrong, just like the feel of them that way the best.
Ford reccommends that the pedal have 1-1/2 inch play. Yes, there's bushings inside the z bar. The early ones were bronze, then they changed to a plastic one. There should be a grease fitting on the bar. Pump grease into it until you see it just start tocome out the ends.
