Super Camper Special
Is ther such a thing called this . The guy says its a 1974 F-350 reg cab.
He mentioned something about a hidden spare tire behind a panel or something to that effect. He also said that they only made so many of these trucks and they were rare. Just wondering if its true or not and if it is what its value would be. 460 AT. Air Kind of a weird lime green with a dark green roof.

They made the Super Camper Special from 73-79, they have a 140" wheel base and a special pickup box to match the frame. They only made about 4000 total, I had a 74, wish I would have kept it.The spare tire is stored behind that cover on the right side of the bed.

Those SUPER CAMPER SPECIAL had a bed that looked like it was on backwards. The tire slides into the passenger side like the tool box that came on some trucks.I think the extended wheelbase was so that a slide-in truck campers weight was better distibuted between the axles.

Ive got a 78 super camper special.
Loaded F-350 with a 460
Ive been using it for a work truck but its really to nice inside to be using it.
The carpet etc is still like new.
The box was pretty rusted out so I put a service box/bed on it.
Since then I found another box (about 5 miles from home) which are very very rare to find.
So Im thinking about doing it up and restoring it its such a great truck.

Are these valuable ? Just this weekend I came across a 350 with that odd spare tire "door" on the passenger side of the bed.The truck was a little rough,had an old camper that was shot, asking 1400. Good deal?? ( '78 or '79)

I have a complete s.c.s. bed with side panel ( just the bed ) fairly straight, no rust. I would like to sale. I have no idea on value. I will take best offer.

F350 Regular Cabs on the 140" wheelbase: 1973/76 Super Camper Special // 1973/79 Trailer Special // 1977/79 Camper Special.
Ford dropped "Super' after 1976. 1973/76 have exposed fuel caps, 1977/79 have fuel doors.
