Found the color I want to paint my '50 F-1 with, but don't know if it's Glen Mist Green, Meadow Green (original colors), or something else. The color I want is on page 56 of Don Bunn's "Ford F-Series Pickup Trucks, 1948-1956". Anybody have an idea of what this color is called? What color is the truck on Page 62? Is there is a website that shows the original colors? Thanks in advance.
Mark,
The truck on p.56 looks like meadow green. The truck on p. 62 is the same truck but it color looks lighter on this page. Try the Colorite web page. They will send you a paint chip for free. Their web page is at: http://www.color-ite.com/
Look at my truck on at: https://www.ford-trucks.com/pictorial/big/1954_f100_3.html
My truck is meadow green, of course the modern paints will look different (and last longer than the original).
Good luck! Abe 54 F-100
