I never considered my Excursion a fast truck. But it is a superior highway cruiser. It is as smooth as anything I have ever owned at 90+ mph. Most of the time I don't realize I am moving that fast, until the limiter starts shutting things down.

guys, i am talking stock vs stock. i know that there is a ton of power to be found in the diesels. and i know that just about anything can do well over 100 mph. lets see, could keep up if your truck was stock? um, i think not. and you cant really compare an suv to a camaro, mustang, and so on. this isn't supposed to be who is faster, it supposed to be that there is no way that a STOCK f350 or X could keep up.

I agree, I was comentting on the person that said no excursion will ever keep up with... or something along that lines. If you start messing with the ex, why couldn't the porsche drive get bigger turbos and all that other crap too.

139mph. thats smokin it. wow
