I seen your ad looking for 6 cylinder frame mounts, does this mean you are putting a 6 in your 4X4?

I think I will try it out if i can ever find some.Seems to be more 8cyl mounts around for that style of frame than the 6s.

I wonder if 2wd mounts would work. I see alot of 65-72 trucks with the 300 I6.

No it has to be from a 4x4 frame . 2 wheel drive mounts are totally different.

Thats too bad. The 66 I have here has the 300 6 still in it(seized of course) Ithought the mounts may work. What about 1ton trucks do those mounts fit like the 4x4. Why are they different froma 2 wheel drive?

Not sure on the 1 tons, different front crossmembers between 2 and 4 x4. My frame is boxed where the engine perches sit.
