I couldn't agree more. I have wandered over there lately myself. Its a whole other world there. There are a few 7.3 diesel guys over there. Must not know about us. So many threads fall through without a single reply. I have replied to some and never here back. You are right about the fighting https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=480712 is just an example. I am glad we don't see that here. I guess we are more interested in learning (me) and helping (ya'll) learn about our trucks and engines. I am glad we can stay here for all of our problems.
Thanks to all of our Moderators.
I agree Pop! I've been there a little and have seen a couple of your posts along with strokin. Just doesn't seem to have much traffic and what there is, doesn't seem to be very enthusiastic about much at all.
Just shows ya how appropriately this forum is named!
I just think the PSD is the most interesting and exciting part of a Super Duty.
Lift kits and big wheels look nice and all but i'm a HP nut and love tuning things
for optimal efficiency.

I'll take this thread as a very big compliment.
And I posted a link in the moderators forum so the Admin's will get a peek at it too. It will provide some good information for thier future plans.
is there a possible change coming? i'd rather read/ discuss my hub and all other problems with you guys than any where else. i think it shows the comfort level we all have in here.

Yep, I think most of us are more interested in the nuts and bolts than the cosmetic stuff (though we do have a great looking bunch of pickups).
Most of the guys over there seem to have newer pickups and bigger egos.
I am convinced the moderators have a lot to do with the way this forum works, and I want to thank Kwikk and Cookie for how the handle things here. I noticed a change for the better on this forum when they took over the moderation.
There seems to be a lynch mob after the moderators over there most of the time.
I too feel that Cookie and Kwik are major players in keeping this forum civil. Thank you to both of you for that. Of course, we also have a lot of very friendly guys here that are users, and I would like to also thank all of you for keeping this a civil place, and more of a brotherhood than just a place where I post about my truck.
After the thread that Pop talked about, "What's on Topic?" I have tried to head to the General SD forum to ask some questions. I got a few responses back, but wasn't very impressed with the quality of answers. And, at least one of my threads over there was answered mostly by our guys from this forum. I tried too.
I'm here. This is my home, and I have no plans to move. Thanks again to everyone who makes this particular forum a welcoming place to be.
I have only been a member for a few weeks, not a supporter but soon, and am very impresed with the quality of the 7.3L forum in praticular. Reading through past posts doing searches etc I get the warm fuzzies seeing the amount of reaponses and lack of flaming not to mention the commetment of members to reply. To the extent of forum members going back 2 to 3 days to catch the very few threads that fell through with out input.
One other board in this forum I have felt welcome is over in the towing/5th wheel forum but at least 1/2 the responses I received to the one thread I started where from names I see regulary on this board.
Anywho, thanks Kwik and Cookie I am smarter for haveing found this place and definatally feel welcome.
