Looking at another PSD

I am on the brink of getting another PSD. I found a 96 CC SB 4x4, With a 5spd tranny. Its in excellent shape. With 116k miles. I got talk $ and got him down to 14,800 about 16k out the door. What do ya'll think. It just got a SMF clutch(dunno what brand yet). New brakes and rotors on the front. New shocks on the back. All the recipts are in the truck. I have been searchin for a CC shortie for a long time with a 5 spd and finally found this one. Also its got gauges in it although the pyro is in the DP(thats easy to move) and comes with a superchips 1705 tuner.
Only problems is the oil pressure gauge seems to only works when it wants to(sending unit??) and the signals don't work but that will be fixed before I buy. Any tips???

I have seen a oil pressure gauge on a 95 psd that always read low. But the guy had it checked and the oil pressure was fine. I wouldnt worry about it. That truck doesnt sound like a bad buy, wish I had a 4 door. 15k is a lot cheaper than a new one.

14K is about what I paid for my 95 with 120,000 miles on it. I thought it was a little high at the time but I think it's worth every penny now. I'd grab it while you can, sounds like a great deal to me. Since you've been searching, quit looking and start buying. Good luck!

At least for the time being. I think I'll eventually sell her cause I don't have any use for two trucks, and cant really afford insurance on both. Now the 6.0 intercooler will be going on the 4 door if I get it and I'll proably swap some mods over to the new one also. I guess I'll find out today if I'm upgrading. I'll keep ya'll posted..............

I need the 4drs. The shorter wheel base is just a conveinece I want. My dad had a 4dr lwb and they just dont fit very well in parking spaces. And it makes it easier for the wife when she drives it.

Well I now own it. Had to give 14,700. Not to bad. I just hope this one is as reliable as the 94.
