Thanks for the response. Another question - What primer did you use on the frame and, other than blasting, was the frame prepped before priming ? Thanks, Joe
Joe, I did a complete tear down of the frame. Every pop rivit was removed and replaced. The rails and cross members were sandblasted and cancer was repaired. Everything that needs to be primered is done with that "RUST BULLET". I am impressed with that stuff.
hello all, its been a while. As of today, THE FRAME HAS WHEELS, that can be moved around now. I am waiting for a bracket to come in the mail to convert the drum bracket to disc but other then that she has wheels. I plan to take frame to paint shop to be painted black.
I will be in the process of ripping out my motor and trans out of the van. I will post pics as soon as the frame comes back from paint shop.
hello everyone. my project has been on hold now for about a month because of a back ordered part. since i want to put disc bracks on i needed a bracket and its on back order. low and behold i will have the part in about two weeks.
i am slowly pulling the motor and trans out of the van. i am putting a 400 cu engine and c-6 auto trans. well i will be posting new pics as soon as i get the frame out of garage "on wheels".

Guess what everyone, the engine and transmission (400cu in & c-6) is finally in my garage. It took me about three hours to pull it out of the van it was in. I will be posting new pics shortly.
