I have a Pentax A3000 SLR. I haven't used it in a while and when I went to load the film, the shuttter got stuck. I removed the bottom & got the shutter to close....now I can't get the linkage back together correctly.
Anyone have any experience with this? A repair manual with pictures?
The probelm is that I don't use it enough to justify taking it to a repair place or buying a new camera body. It's just that I have the camera, 2 lenses (Tokina 28-80 mm & Tokina 80-200 mm), and a good flash (Sunpack), it's a lot of money to just throw away. I'd like to use it sometime.
Go to your favorite camera store, take your lenses and your flash, and tell them what happened. I would almost bet my paycheck that you can get a NEW camera body of a name brand that will be able to utilize those lenses. They are not unique to that model.
