lighted window switch

I just got a 2004 ranger and noticed that the window switches do not light, neother does the switch to turn on the headlights. I assume there was a package that this truck lacks. Does anyone know if it is tough to swap them for lighted ones? Thanks

Welcome.

Unfortunately, there is no such package. You won't find any lighted window switches to swap into your Ranger.

I'm not sure about the switch for the headlamps.

Dash illumination exists for the headlight switch. Probably a burnt out bulb which is an integral part of the HL assembly. Happily, this covered by the factory warranty

Just for grins, you may want to put this site on your favorite web page list. Lots of good info, including how to fix those burnt out lights you are talking about. Yes, you will get them fixed under warranty now. But, I guarantee they will burnt out again!
