running the hot water, i have no choice but filling it up but it is probaly less water to leav it running kind of low if i shaved in the shower i would come out with half a sideburn on one side and none on the other and chunks of hair missing, if i cant see it i dont like to go at it with something sharp. i cant turn it off and on becuase the **** is screwy and if you just turn the hot on and then back off it springs right back on full, but if you run hot water and get the faucet hot then turn it off it stays off. shaving does suck, aint nothin like shaveing then gettin in the shower and washing your face and realizing as soon as the soap touches your face that you just shaved then you jump around like an idiot waiting for it to go numb so it wont hurt anymore.
I'd grow a beard if I could, but the chemical plant I work at says 'verboten'. Can't get a seal on a respirator if I had facial fur. Guess I'll grow a beard when I retire (if the wife lets me).
I use a Gilette Mach 3, and whatever Gel/Cream is handy with a little running water to clean excess shaving cream off the blade. And wipe off excess with clean towel, and use some Old Spice for aftershave.
Just got to remember to get new screen and bladdes about every 8 to 10 months otherwise it starts pulling out the wiskers.
Ha, just reminded me of my grandpa. He uses an Norelco with the 3 round blades, and he is too tight to buy new ones. So when they get dull, he pops them out and spins them around on a sharpening stone. My grandma told me that everytime he sharpens the blades himself, he comes out bleeding for the first few shaves, because they are now too sharp!! Gotta love old people
