Run hot water onto hand towel into plugged sink .

Take wet hot towel and apply to face for 2 minutes.

Then Lather face with brush and lather cream .

Wait 29 seconds as you partially fill sink with Really COLD water.

Start shaving and rinse blades in the cold water in the sink during shaving.

When done.... empty sink , rinse whiskers off razor and around sink ie: (clean-up mess )

Wipe face with wet hot towel and dry, then apply Nivea After Shave cream to face

Then go out in the world and show off your perfect shave

That is the most detailed shaving ritual I have ever seen spelled out or heard of.

I'm a shower shaver.

Shower first, then when fresh out use some good shaving soap and a brush, then blade it.

I fill the sink with warm water. Wet face with it, use a mug and brush, then shave with a straight razor, dipping it into the water to clean it after every stroke. It gives me such a smooth shave that I only have to do it every other day.

I use two methods actually. I have this electric Braun self cleaning deall that I love, close shave no razor bumps and closer it seems than a blade. I use the Gillette III on the 'ole noggin ever since it started thinning a few years ago.

I guess you could say I'm an Equal Oppotunity shaver....LOL!

Details are important
and yet I didn't even touch on the ouch I cut myelf 3 times and searched high & low for the steptic pencil to stop the bleeding...... because I don't like little pieces of TP plastered all over my face like at "Custer's last stand"

You get the best shave by running the blade under COLD water every time.

Try it, you will feel the difference

You're right Dennis. Really cools the face after scraping off that top 3 or 4 layers of skin.

Lately I've been too lazy to actually shave, so it's just been the clippers all over to shorten it up. But when I do shave, it's with running HOT water...cold just doesn't work as well, gotta do like 3 extra strokes over one spot to get a close shave.

I use an electric so much easier and faster, it did take a while to get use to though. Just got to remember to get new screen and bladdes about every 8 to 10 months otherwise it starts pulling out the wiskers.
