Question Exhaust ? And Computer?

hello all

i want new exhaust but i want it to be 4" from the turbo back and still keep the cat. mbrps is 3.5" turbo to cat and 4" all the way back. but it looks like bully dog has a 4" system. do you guys have any other? i would like to spend around 400-500 dollars.

also , im looking for the computer in the overhead. that tells direction and mpg automaticaly. my truck didnt come with one. anyody know where i can get one, from a totalled truck or somethin. ford wants way too much

thanks

for the computer, it would be cheaper to get a stand alone gps, and monitor your milage by hand, the mpg meter is not even close to accurate for mote people.........and that overhead console requires a console wiring harness, and a headliner made for a console truck, big money.
wrecking yards do not have many of these trucks that would have a good roof, the value is so high on them, it takes a crapload of damage to actually total one of em, thus a rollover, or fire, or flood is the best way to do it..........

as for the turbo downpipe, a 3.5" IMHO is the way to go, far more clearance, and no power difference at all, nor sound....but, to each his own.
there are tons of threads about dp sizing, and power, noise etc...do a search and you will get more info than this thread will provide.

good luck!

I installed a 4" turbo back MBRP on a 7.3l, no cat, and a 3.5" turbo to cat/4" cat back on a 6.0l a few weeks ago. There is a minor difference in sound, which could be related to the 7.3 vs 6.0 not the exaust. Also, on the downpipe it is really tight, as in my 6.0 had about 1/4" clearence at one point. If you put a 4" pipe in there .... well it could be interesting.

Go with the MBRP system. It is a very nice setup and fits very well.
