Forged crank

Does anyone know if forged cranks for the 4.9 use the same flywheel and harmonic balancer as the cast cranks?

Yes, yes they do & state this from experience as I've a '66 Steele Crank in my 300 I-6.
Why would you believe otherwise?

I wasn't harboring any particular belief, I was just curious. Wondering if there is any difference in harmonics the two types generate. I guess that if Ford used the same harmonic balancer and flywheel assemblies they must be the same or very similar.

The trick is finding one. They were only produced from 65-80 and only appeared in "light duty" trucks sporaticly and not by design.

Casting numbers (that I've found) are C6TE-G and C5TE-F.
