Strokin_it if your EGT is that low and the you're trying that hard, it's a fuel supply problem.
That could be loss of fuel pressure, loss of HPOP pressure and the resulting weak injection event, or both.
I had the same symptoms as you describe. Low EGT's. Turned out I had a clogged fuel pump inlet. It supplied great pressure at idle low RPM and light load driving, but anything over 2500 RPM was flat and weak.
It could also be a simple as a clogged fuel filter.
kwik, i checked the situation out THREE times tonight. two of them were on flat ground, from 45-75mph in drive. i let off at 75 just for "safety". those times the EGT only got to 1050* or so. on the way home from her house i took a different route with a long uphill straightaway. i slowed on the bridge to about 20, and then just rolled into it. i let off at 80 or so, and then i was still locked in D. glanced over and saw the pyro at 1200*. so no, i dont think fuel's the problem.
