Kwik Filter/Battery Box

Kwik Filter/Battery Box
I became over whelmed searching the threads and have to ask. Is my stock battery box (2000 F250) and air filter box seperate or would I have to do some cutting? If cutting is part of the mod has anyone picked up an after market battery box that could be bolted in? Thanks for any replies.

with mine, i left the battery box there, i just removed the top, rear and upper part of the side. the seperator between the battery and the box is still there, and the snorkel is still there. here are some pics of other things with the box in the background.
