I'm thinking that if one were to change out the turbine housing to a 1.00 or 1.15
one might get a better sound. Will have to wait for Strokin to give a report.

If you want to disturb the peace this system without the muffler will do it! AND its fun to blow small children off there bikes as you pass!
it sure turns heads when u get on it straight -piped and its great people sure get out of your way its kinda like having a red light on top and a siren. isnt it great owning a psd with a cannon on it haha
Im still looking to see if anyone has a proposal for stacks that DO NOT poke up through the bed. I have a CC dually and if they exit behind the cab corners, even with the expanded metal heat shields they will be withing the width of the rear fenders...That would rock!!! Oh well.......just dreaming for now, but stacks would be awesome......
Just a "teeny tiny inch"? Hmm. Let's play a little math game.
Since the size of the pipe and its ability to flow gasses - and sound - is a result of the cross-sectional area, just how much difference in cross-sectional area is there between stock (3.5") and a 4" system? Stock cross-sectional area is: 9.62 square inches. For the 4" system, it would be 12.6, or a whopping 31% increase! That is no small potatoes and explains why there is such an improvement in flow, even if you compare a 4" system to a stock system with a muffler delete pipe.
Okay, now how about that 5" system with its teeny tiny inch? The 4" has a cross-sectional area of 12.57 square inches. The 5" system has 19.63 square inches, or an increase of 56% in cross-sectional area over the 4" and an increase of 104% over stock!
good news guys, the first prototype of the 7" monster is on its way from an undisclosed location, should be here next week.... my little 4 incher sounds sweet, but man...cant wait till the 7" gets here.....can we say braggin rights???
Hey guys wait for me, I just ordered my 5" system with tip from Mark.
And bought the dp-tune 80 hp PCM for a board member.
I will be in the cannon club by next weekend.
Welcome to the Cannon Club, hott-rod! You'll love the thing.
Oh, I mentioned to many on this forum that when my son borrowed my truck with its 5-inch cannon (after his car broke) I couldn't even hear him pull in the driveway when I was in the house.
Well, his car broke again. Last night at about 11:30, the house was quiet. The bird was asleep, as was the wife. No TV, no radio. I definitely heard him pull up the driveway! It wasn't loud, it was very deep, very low, and just kind of carried through the walls. At first, I thought we were having a small earthquake. Then I heard a bit of mechanical noise and knew it was my truck.
