Angry emissions recall

i have an o4 w/ a torqueshift tranny and i took it in to have recall done and they reprogram the tranny. i lost most of the down shifting in the tranny and they told me too bad and they cant reprogram it back. i told them that my tranny used to downshift in 1st 2nd and 3rd and now it only downshifts in 3rd. has anybody else had this problem

when they reprogram, the tool used starts with pcm reprogram, goes on its own to reprogram ficm, then shifts to reprogram tcm. the reflash changes the way the pcm uses the information---engine load, rpms, etc---all of these also affect shift strategy. let your engine get used to the reflash, and your truck might return to normal.
