head gasket change and now wont start help

i done a head gasket change last night and well when i put it all back together and cranked the engine it just cranked over and over and never even tried to start if ne one has a sugguestion on what it may be please help

also if this is out of time how is the easiest way to check it and see if it is right or not

Well when looking at the front of the engine.
When the crankshaft mark is at 6:00 clock (keyway)
the right hand camshaft mark (driverside) is at 1:00
the left hand cam shaft ,mark is at 11:00
this what I remember .I will have to go look at my shop manua.

Did you put the crank sensor tone ring back on before you installed the timing cover? And I have always put the crank keyway at 12 o'clock whick puts the crank timing mark at about 7 o'clock and both cams are set to 12 o'clock then mark the chains and put them on lining up the marks. Never failed me yet.
