what is a 5.8 HO??

hey by the way edelbrock thunder series avs 650cfm is the carb i run. really almost a bombproof carb and if im not mistaking it for something elese i was also told you can get the 650 cfm avs in a dual feed correct me someone if im wrong.

well I been pricing and both carbs cost about the same, unless someone knows of a sale. this truck is not running a 351W HO, rather an old worn out 351W currently with a Holley 2300 from my Scout II.
Just last friday, I got a call "the truck won't idle" it keeps stalling.
so I found a missing vacumm hose causing a leak. that was not it.
Turns out it had 2 major vacumm leaks and the power diaphram on the carb was leaking. so I replaced it and while I was at it - installed new motorcraft spark plugs. the truck is currently running great. BUT not good enough I would go off road with it.
Still looking forward to a rebuilt engine and a more reliable fuel system.
