when you say bolt holes do you meen the bolt pattern that mounts the head to the block is different .so a head from a 5.0 e7tes wont mount to a 351w cause i was going to put a set of e7tes on my 351w and im not sure what they came off of ill have to check

they are swappable heads but 5.0 heads to a 351w will require drilling out the head bolt holes to 1/2 size. take them to a machine shop to have this done. otherwise they are the same head.
