CB Mount

I'm wanting to mount my CB on the the ceiling of my cab between the visors. Is there any special I should go about this? Is there a cross bar or something I can screw the mount to?

hrm, this is a touchy one. im always scared of going too far. im sure that if u use short screws you should be fine. there is a cross bar that runs front to back in the middle. feel through your headliner and see if u can feel it

Someone has to have some knowledge on this, I see tons of trucks that have them mounted like this.

I would take the headliner down and make a bracket that you can JBWeld to the roof so that you don't risk drilling through the roof. JB weld would hold the radio. You could also run the wires for the radio while the headliner is down.
