You should use car wash, that stuff probably strips all the wax off which is a bad bad thing.
Primary rig is Green Thunder:

CLEAN CLEAN Windows!!
Chrome cleaner! Also Bon Ami. Neither are abrasive but will take off water deposits. You may need a corse cloth or even a grill cleaning brush (nylon?) for serious deposits.
