Just bought a '99 Expy EB used - great truck! But I'm having a terrible time cleaning the windows! Have tried several products that are "safe for tinted windows" but they don't get the water spots out without at least 20 minutes of rubbing (and I could probably do that without the cleaner!).
Windex works great on water spots, but I don't dare use it on the tinted windows.
I used Windex for years on tinted windows with, I thought, no ill effects. Now, I use an auto glass cleaner I got from Griot's Garage, which seems to work well. They also sell a glass "polish" that has a very mild abrasive. Never tried that, your window would have to be in awful bad shape to take the risk. You might also try Ford's own product (ZC-23) -- "Motorcraft Ultra Clear Spray Glass Cleaner." Good luck with your new truck.
Biswanger Glass (check other large glass stores) had a product I looked at one day a while back. I didn't buy any of it and forget the name, but the guy at the shop said it is awesome for cleaning windows. You might want to give them a call.
BTW, I hope those are factory tinted windows. The use of any ammoinia (windex) product on after market tint film (which is applied to the interior side of the glass) will cause it to discolor. Have you ever seen a car with purple window tint? That's how they got purple tint.
