I have been looking/ thinking about buying a 66 f100. anyway it came factory with a 352 or 360. I have heard rumers it is a 390 but have not tested the stroke to see yet. Here is what i do know. it has a 4bbl motorcraft carb a 4100 with tag number C6AF F C6CE, 4 bbl intake number C8AE 9425-f and there is a big S before that. the heads have motor craft plugs(can not remember the number) but i know the driver side head i think was a C8AE Something i belive. and i could not see the other side. The Block I did not get to look at casting numbers( to dang cold out to lay on the ground) But it did have a very lose alum tag on the driver side of the block up front that said 352 67 7 GH 291 A. So with out checking the stroke i would guess it is a 352. So Can anyone tell me about this combo? Good bad ECT?? Thanks and all info is good.
On a side note it needs all the choke stuff on the side of the carb. ( none is there) I would like to find the correct choke parts and put them on. does anyone know a source for these? it will be a manual choke and is a 4100 motortcraft. also does anyone have a pictures of chokes on these so i know what all i need. thanks

The f100 of 65, 66, and 67 came with the 352 V8. It sounds like someone pumped up the motor a little along the line, adding the 4-barrel manifold. The heads are not the castings found on a 352, so.... You could have a 390, but you will need to check the stroke to be sure of what you have.
