I've gone over every inch and these are all the number I find.
Greg
Greg, going by the date codes it looks like that is an intact engine. Intake manifold was cast on 8/8/69 and the block on 8/1/69. I would say it’s a late ’69 engine because the ’70 engines used the D0TE exhaust manifolds while earlier ones used the ones you have. What are the numbers on the dizzy? Check the passenger side head again, is it really a “M”? It’s either a 360 or 390, you have to check the stroke to find out.
C8TF-H is a 360 automatic trans. dizzy for '68,'69, no other applications. Your engine sounds complete and unmolested, I bet that's what it is but verify the stroke just to be safe.
