92 alternator problem fixed
OK I was half wrong. I always thought that an alternator was like a light bulb, it either works or it dosen't. But I bought one yesterday (that's the 1/2 right part)and installed it this morning. Light is off gauge back to normal. Copper, it probably was the brushes giving out. The install was easy, all from the top. I did not need to remove the tire like Haynes says.
