I`m getting a worse case of cabin fever each passing cold winter day and three days of the rotten wind is not helping. I can`t wait too much longer for cruising and car/trucks shows.
Hey Fom, The bad weather is a perfect time to make PLANS! Both for your projects and for summer travel. I just got another parts list for a new cheap homemade power add for my truck this morning, so even with the bad weather there's always something to look forward too!!!!!
As for car shows, the only one around for me is on next weekend in Winnipeg and I can't go, so that kinda sucks.
Cabin Fever is getting strong here also, but have forade to the city everyday in this weather. Really greasy highways thou from the drifting snow. A couple of times the truck did a little spin of tires but kept straight and true.
Yesterday was at Midas on 8th. One of the guys that works there has a early 70's Ranchero and just bought a mid 80's Bronco. He is looking for Ranchero stuff to fix his up so I left a note about us there. So maybe we will get a new member.

Hey guys, lots of plans, mostly driving my summer toys! Can wait for that and this time of the winter seems the longest. The darkest hour is just before dawn.
Rancheros are neat, I had 2 mid 70`s. One had the 351 Cleaveland and the other with a 302. Is the Bronco full size?
I seen it, but not met the guy. Just left a note with his co-workers. yes it is a full size bronco. It sat at the firestone on 8th street for a long time with a for sale sign. He worked across the street and eventually bought it. So hopefully he will come on board here if his co-workers give him the note I left.
Man it is hard to beleive the weather here. 3 weeks ago hardly any snow all winter and the tempatures getting warmer, seemed like spring was just around the corner and blame. A 2 week period of blowing winds and 3 feet of snow. I was starting to see the ground, but now I will have to wait.
Oh today is the first day of spring. I have not seen a Robin yet.
Still windy here today. Can hear the wind whistling through the front door. It never really warmed up with the wind chill. It did melt some, got a patch of turf showing where I had Bobcated 2 weeks ago.
The drive out to Lloyd monday was crazy. We just got out of saskatoon and one of the guys rolled his company truck. He got tossed out the windshield. He spent the night at the hospital and is going to be ok. The passenger was released the same day.
There were several cars littering the ditch all the way here. Couldn't drive over 40k from battleford to the truck stop 1/2 way between Lloyd, After that it cleared right up and could go 130k to make up time.
I figure it was most likely were one department of holidays crew territory started and the next began. The roads were all the same, some crews were just doing something about it.
I was thinking the drive to Lloyd Monday AM would be awful. Glad to hear the guy will be ok, which Ford got rolled? I take it he wasn`t wearing seat belts, the passenger must have had his on.
