02 Explorer transmission problem

Hey all. My wifes 02 Explorer is shuddering when shifting from 4th to 5th. We bought it used with approximately 32k miles on it. It has about 88k miles on it now and I have had the dealership rebuild the thing twice. After the first rebuild it still did not shift right so I carried to another dealership and they rebuilt it. It has ran fairly well for a little while but now it is starting to shudder when it shifts. I disconnected the battery for a little while to let the computer reset and see if that would fix it. It did not. If anybody has any suggestions for me to try I would greatly appreciate. It is 4.0 liter V6. Also after having the transmission rebuilt we can no longer shift straight from drive to park. It is like it hits a wall when you try to go straight to park. You have to shift to where it stops and then move it back towards drive and then into park. Please help.

The dealers have a warranty period on repairs.
Is it too late?

The warranty on the transmission rebuild was only for 12 months or 12000 miles and we have passed both. I called the dealer and they offered to tear down the transmission to find out what was the problem and they offered to cut the labor rate from $75 and hour to $50 an hour. I have chosen to have a friend who owns a repair shop to order me a Jasper transmission to replace the existing transmission. It comes with a 3 year 75000 mile warranty.
