audio/speaker ???s

im thinking about replacing the speakers in my rear hatch (1995 Aero) its got the rear audio controls, but had no problem replacing head unit with aftermarket, so im assuming its not common grounded, but is it? and if so how do i go about replacing these only?

Have you downloaded the latest Ford CD manual for your Aerostar? They have everything written down, step by step. There should be a link to it somewhere in this forum if you do a search.

I would check out www.crutchfield.com and see what they recomend for speakers. Alot easier than searching the CD.

Modern car stereo is not desighnet for common grounded speackers, so I reccomend rewiring. But if you have old ford stereo, just connect new speakers (positive pin is usually marked by color, "+" or ".").
