im thinking of doing the exhaust on my truck soon.... i have heard (on-line) the gibson exhaust... and it just sounds like rice..... NOT what i want..... i want a bit of a rumble and yes i know a V6 wont ruble to much but anything is better than buzzing.... any muffler suggestions? im also thinking of just doing 3"" after the cat and no muffler.....
also...anyone got sounds clips of V6 truck exhausts?
Plenty of discussion on this topic. I myself have straight duals, with a Dynamax dual in and dual out. Nothing really in the muffler, sounds OK to me. I get compliments on it from time to time. People on this site discurage true duals, and suggest cat back with the Flowmasters, and others don't recomend anything at all. It will be personal preference.I'll get a sound bite of mine and post it.

ya i know aboot the choices.... but a sound clip would be nice thanx
I understand. I have asked for a clip of no muffler set up as well. I dont think any one has one. I used to run no mufflers on my last truck, but it was a dodge 5.9l. a bit more rumble. I do know the gas milage droped a bit after doing so, but that may be caused by the constant reving of the engine just to hear it.
