ok i know rogers motor will make some serious power. but i dont have that kind of money right now. so can i purchase the cam and lifters and order at the same time the valvesprings and get all the same componets minus timing set? then sub in a cloyes or summitt or somrthing? basically what im askin is will i still get all the retainers and locks and like parts by ordering just the cam and springs?

Call Summit Racing, or Jegs about getting the K kit, with a substitution for the timing set.

Here is the description for the 265DEH.

Very strong mid-range performance. Everyday usage for stock exhaust. Noticeable idle. 1500-5750 RPM.

Just a heads up. I ordered the Comp Cams XE 262 k-kit, and it came with the Magnum timing set, which is a true double roller set-up. Maybe the non XE k-kits come with a standard set, but mine did not. You may want to call Summit and inquire. Let us know what you find out.

Talking new info on comp cams (prev. edlelbrock cams)

just left summits web site and the k32-207-3 kit is 400ish bucks and comes with a standard timing set(non roller).
if you order the valve spring kit you do get the locks and retainers as well as you would in the k kit.

TO THE POINT
sorry about caps just seperating info.

the valve spring kit(126$)+ dual roller timing set(49$)+ cam and lifter kit (179$)
= grand total 354$ i think thats what it was if you dont believe me i gave you the numbers math isnt my thing at 11:30pm.

so we get better parts for less dream come true.
