also with a married setup it can get pricey real fast when trying to match spline counts and bolt patterns. plus 2wd tranny's are SO much easier to find!
not to steal your thread... but does anyone know if I can in some way put a divorced unit on my tranny? I mean, I know its possible, but can I just get the end part fro a 2wd ZF and bolt that on and then put the NP205 on? or should I just get married? If I put a married on the ZF, can I twinstick it?
I think that you can do it the same way you would do it on a nv -435 tranny,as the mounts are quite similar between the zf and a 435, and in the late 80's they were both used with the bw 1356 tc, and the shifter mount on the 435 didn't change, so i doubt it'll be to hard.
ok, thanks... But I thinkI am going to get married bc I found one for $150 locally, and ive been searching for a while. they are like gold down here...
yeah, don't forget to build a side mount for that pig of a 205tc, heres what i did (you can use your stock crossmember too that one is out of an 87 3/4t, theres plenty of clearence, or should be anyway, thats a 435/205 setup):
Divorced, allows more freedom but will cost you half of everything, married less freedom but only slowly bleeds your resources, oohh wait your talking Tcases well now thats differnt

You found one for $150!?!?! Mail order bride I suppose. She'll probably be more willing to cook and clean. Better than gold I say.
