thats what im doin with the 88, gonna make some half doors, and have a second set of full doors. then i can run no doors, half doors, or full doors, all depending on the conditions.
whil eyour cutting stuff, turn all four doors into half doors
when i was replacing some of the door bushings on my crew cab i REALLY wanted to make the doors removable like my last truck with quick disconnects not sure how that would look
cutts, thats what im gonna do with mine, use push pins with the retracting ball like a ratchet, pull 2 pins and drop the doors off. loose and easy 50 pounds if its warm out
hmm Ive thought about that before, but after looking at my doors I thought it would be too hard. I guess quick disconnects would work. Another Issue I would be concerned with is alignment after swapping them a lot... Oh, and mudding in the summer. Id be cleaning that interior once a week... something I dont really want to do. And of course, yall now say "just make some canvas snap on door-thingies" good idea guys, ill look into that...
