K thanks, looks like itll work...
Edit: looking back at that T-case pic I posted, IT should work... It came off a C6, and still has hte C6 tailhousing... but Ive also still got my tailhousing on my ZF... so underneat that C6 adapter would be the 6 bolt holes. Those four bolts on the inside are the input shaft collar ratainers or whatever- not part of the adapter. the adapter fits around it...
You can see some of those bolts in this picture:

My 2 cents, if you plan to run 12" or more lift go with a divorced case. It saves a LOT of hassle. Less than 12" I'd run a married case.

what about 11.5"?

Then I have to get another shaft made and find a 2wd tailhousing and outputshaft. Those for ZF's wont be cheap.

Well, at 12" my stock CV angle was okay up front but you still need to turn your pinion up for a 0º angle there. Once you go past a certain point you'll have to make adjustments to the axle to keep the caster in check which is why it gets to be a major PITA and why I'd recommend going divorced. FWIW I'm still using my stock front driveshaft and the CV is maxed out at 18" of lift. The real nightmare was all the axle mods required so I could make the short front shaft work with a married case.

I just dont want to have to chop and rotate the axle. That would be a real nightmare. Im not willing to do that... I may just go divorced, but Im leaning towards married. We shall see. I am now thinking divorced would be best, that way I will have no stress from the weight of the case on my alum ZF housing. ah well, i dont know what to say...

If you do go with a married setup, just make sure that the 2 different adapters are of relativatly same lenght, and the adapter lenght changed through out the years.

If I could do it again, I'd go divorced and position the t-case so both front and rear shafts are at equal length and fully interchangable. Then if you wanted to get a spare made you could use it in either position, or swap the front to the rear in an emergency. This would be particularly easy with a super or crew cab truck.

Thats why my dad did for his old Blazer. It made life hella easy. He snapped a rear u joint all he had to do was pull the front and place it in the rear. Very nice option to have.

that is ingenious. good thinking. BUT. I am chopping the hell out of my wheelbase. I know people on here wont like it so much, but a 172" wheelbase doesnt work for offroading. I cant do trailrides. When its not raining here, thats all we have. Hehe, Ill post pics on Pirate... that will be amusing.
In this pic, 7" behind the little piece of black tape is where center of the wheels will sit, just a lot lower.

All thats left is to actuall cut it.
