Steering Column Bearing Removal Problems
50 F-1. Does anyone have some tips on getting the upper steering column bearing out. The steering shaft sets in the middle of everything making it difficult to get anything behind the bearing. If I take a chisel to it and break things up I'm afraid the bearing ***** will end up in the steering gearbox. Any ideas? Thanks.

AsI recall you can loosen the column at the gearbox and slide it up beyond the end of the steering shaft then remove the bearing.
