In Florida it's illegal to run any "other color lights" like blue on the front of the vehicle. Unless your emergency services. You can even get a ticket for running those windshield washer colored lights..
The only thing that's allowed is white (normal headlights/fog lights) and yellow (turn signals/fog lights).

Check with your local vehicle code, In California back in the 1970's I had a truck (it was a cover truck for truckin mag) that was dark blue and I ran blue lights in the wheelwells and undercarriage (to show off the chrome suspension) and light up the ground blue at night! red (other than for brake lights) , blue, green and amber lights (other than turn signals) are illegal other than for Police, fire ambulance and snow plows, but.....at that time in California's vehicle code, it stated that no light could be seen that was these colors, but it did not say the reflection was illegal. I positions the lights (even using shields) so the light itself could not be seen. BTW, insted of going with those very expensive LED's, you can purchase through most autoparts stores and JC whitney, running lights for 18-wheel type trucks that come in all those colors for a fraction of the price. Just purchase a relay to run them off of and you'll do fine.
