gpr led question

I finally installed the led I purchased last summer.
Anyway, everything worked well, I flipped the key and the led came on.
Today, the led worked properly, I drove the truck about 20 minutes and I shut it off. 5 minutes later I start the truck and no led. Did something come loose or was the truck warm enough and the gp are not needed?

When the oil temperature is at operating temp (131* or more), the PCM will not send the ground signal to the GPR to turn on. No worries, it is working properly.

If the oil is partially warm, the GPR LED will illuminate anywhere from 0-120 seconds.

Thank you for the responses. I was really confused because the factory light comes on every time. Now I am thinking of all the time I have wasted for the factory light to go out when the gp's weren't even on.
