i took my 05 f250 PSD in to the dealer for a turbo problem. just got a phone call and said that my turbo is all coked up this is the 2nd time it has done this now in 3-4 months. does anyone have an idea what this could be? no chip or programmer. 4"down pipe 5" exhaust and intake. im stumped they are too. could it be fuel injectors i had the egr valve replaced 3 weeks ago because i took it into the dealer for this problem. when i had the truck and start it in the morning blue smoke would fly until i got into the truck to drive then it would stop.
Do you let it idle for a minute or two to let the oil cool when you stop to get out? it might help some. the military recommends this on turboed M35 and 5 ton trucks, I'd think it wouldnt hurt on a smaller vehicle to try it either.

you should do this will ALL turbo cars, even little cars
turbo spooled up slow, bleeding off slow, and sometimes not even boost at all. they took the turbo and cleaned it out put it back on and now running more tests on truck to try to find the problem that keeps making the turbo coke up. when i find something out i will let you guys know.

Did you look at the coked up turbo? Ford does not recommend cleaning a bad turbo it should be replaced. I would suggest taking your truck to another service department to have a different opinion in regards to your problem. It is not likely you can coke a turbo up in as little time as you state. Almost every bad turbo I have seen had vanes sticking due to "rust" not carbon or coke.
