check engine light
i have a 00 ranger 3.0 4x4 automatic. the check engine light came on . i had it checked and it was the o2 sensors, i changed them out (fun fun) then it came on again, egr valve changed that out now its back on and read code 401 low flow . what is causing this ? and where are the sensors to the egr valve? I dont want to take the lower pipe off cause it is attached to two smaller pipes to the engine? can anyone help or anyone had the same proplems

Welcome!
It's more than likely a bad DPFE sensor causing the P0401 code. Easy to replace, a couple of screws and hoses. Located on the upper intake manifiold.
When you go to replace the sensor, also check the hoses for any blockage.

I have a 1996 ford powerstroke diesel and i was wondering if anyone out there knew how to make it blow black smoke without putting a bunch of money into it? also if anyone has any info on it please let me know thanks dell
