I appreciate the help fellas. My dealer said that he thought the solenoids were the problem but he wasnt sure. he decided to replace all of them anyway. guess what? transmission works perfect now. transmission has ben exorcised!
I'm new so be gentle. I bought a used 04 6.0PSD with ~38k miles a year ago. Soon after, I put an Edge juice/attitude on it and it was amazing. After driving it fairly aggressive over the next few months I noticed what seemed to be less amazing than it was when initially installed. So, two days ago I decided to remove it. OMG the truck is shifting all over the place, the tow/haul lite is blinking incessently, it's bucking like a bronc. I barely made it to the dealer this evening to drop it off. My concern is that 1. I'm out of warranty @~58k miles and 2. there are two outstanding recalls for my truck. The recalls are the chaffing of the injector harness and some engine computer reflash or something. I'm wondering if either of these (mainly the latter) will fix this transmission problem? My luck would dictate that I'm going to have to dig deep and pay for tranny repair. I'd appreciate any insight anyone has.
