Hey fellas. I hope you can help me out here. I own a 2000 F-250 PSD auto with 148K on the clock. The truck stalled on me while it was warming up outside during the morning about 3 weeks ago, then again a week later while I was backing up in a parking lot. I brought it to the dealer, thinking it was the cam sensor, which the head tech said it wasn't. Turns out the icp sensor needed replacing. That was done about one week ago. Then yesterday I was driving home and the truck shut off again! Brought it to the dealer after work today and watched him do a running test and trouble shooting for codes...After all that, no codes appeared. And it appears the icp sensor didn't cause any of the stalling. What do you guys think the problem is? I don't want the dealer to do anymore trial and error. It's costing me too much money! Thanks for the help.
Sometimes a failing CPS will set a code that can be read. Sometimes it will light up the SES light. Mine did neither. This forum is the only reason I knew what was wrong and how to fix it. (I did have to give the dealer $185 for the part)

Thanks fellas. I DO trust you guys more than anybody else. I'm still sticking with my thought of the cps being the problem, but I wanted some input, which I got. Thanks!
DItto above comments....without the forum I would not have know my "miss" and stalls were CPS related. Bought a new one from powerstroke.com for $100 shipped. Runs like a top again!
