I love spring time. Its finally starting to warm up and the snow is melting. This is going to sound corny, but when I stepped out of my dorm into the hall today, the smell of spring was in the air.
Yep smells like spring around here too. The cow crap that has been frozen all winter is starting to thaw out.
Seriously though. It has been a weird winter for us. Never had much more than a foot of snow on the ground and most of the winter you could see grass. I just want mother nature to make up her mind on which season she wants to be in.
its gradually strating to warm up around here too, but we did have a coupple of 70* days in the middle of winter then we had 16" of snow so who really knows what is goin on. i cant wait to be able to work on my truck and not loose feeling in my hands and for all the good mud from the rain.
AHHHHH yes spring time in Phoenix, an everso crisp 50 degres for an overnight low, and a lovely 80 for a high today,
sounds great but it is our sucker weather cause in a couple of months we will need welding gloves to hold our steering wheel.
I'm a big fan of both spring & fall. It's just warm enough in the daytime that I don't roast in full riding leathers; yet warm enough in the morning & late evening that it is easy to throw a fleece on and still be riding comfortably.
Spring is great, but I like all four seasons. We haven't had enough winter here yet, so if any of you can figure out how to send me your excess winter I'll take it!
I moved up to Michigan in June, all I heard was, "Your gonna catch hell this winter." Well I didn't catch hell, it was a little longer than I was used to in Tennessee, but not a lot of snow, and cold. I am glad winter is just about over though. I just want to work at night, and not have to worry about freezing weather. I love night shift in the summer. 70 degrees, riding with the window down, working in shorts.
yeah,I think spring has been here since early december minus the plants growing and trees budding.....this is the warmest winter I can remember ever. Hardly any snow, and temps hardly ever below 40
