well here in northern iowa tonight at about 5 i headed out to load out hogs at a hog building and it just started snowing then after i got out of the hog buildings at 11 there was 5 inches of fresh powder on the ground it it is still comeing down hard, on my way home i went 20 mph max and about went in the ditch about 10 times, the weather channel says another 5-9 inches of snow is expected through out tonight till tomorrow after noon with winds reaching 25 mph. i was wondering how the weather was where you guys are out.
Here in KC, we were told last Thursday to expect 12 - 18 inches of snow by tomorrow morning. It went from that to, 8 -10 , 4 - 6, 2 - 4 and the last I heard about 10 minutes ago was a dusting to a max of 2" Current weather here is rain and about 35 degrees.
its about 14 degrees here and the wind blowing about 20moh and like i said before the snow is comeing down in sheets still. to be honest with you i love it, it will give me time to work on my truck motor in the nice heated shop tomorrow, with the exception of pushing snow.
It was warm, I was wearing a t shirt and finishing up the front end rebuild on my truck. Panda our dwarf goat kept crawling under the truck with me and trying to lay down next to me, I guess he wasn't warm enough. The sun was shining on my legs and was a little too warm.
well its 9:15 AM right now and we got a good 10 inches of fresh powder last night and thats on top of the other 10 inches we already had, i can tell you its a mess outside, no one anywhere near us had school today and most places are closed
