Door pins and bushing replacement

I was given the pins/bushings in the pic by the seller last week when I bought my 96, they are longer than the factory pins/bushings and look larger. Does these look right or should I order something different from Ford? This is wierd, the door pins and bushings on my 85 and 88 were tight as a bottle and the hinges on the 80 doors I just put on the 88 last fall were really tight too. Maybe I should steal the hinges off the 88 I just sold to dad...LOL

To me loose doors are an indicator of a lot of city driving (opening and closing the door constantly).

I have some pins from Napa that I have to put in my truck. There is one short and one long one per side. I think the Napa pins are just two long pins, universal design, with two snap ring grooves to fit either the long or short hinge. Can't see yours well enough to tell if you have two different grooves.

There are no snap ring grooves at all in these pins. ust 4 pins and 8 bushings. I guess I'll have to try them and see how it works out. I have a buddy at the local Ford dealership, maybe I'll go see him to see what they are using.

That's weird, I wonder how they're retained, are you supposed to stake them or something?

I can tell you for sure that NAPA should have the right parts because I have gotten them there for two different trucks...

I changed them today, piece of cake. We used some large blocks of wood, pulled the hinge bolts out, set the door on the blocks and had my father inlaw hold the door upright as I changed the pins and bushings....done in no time flat....What a difference, the cab interior rattle and whistle free....LOL
