Where to buy stock valve springs?

I'm almost finished rebuilding my 93 302 and I'm not totally happy with my stock valve springs. The machine shop that rebuilt my heads told me they should be OK but they are more out-of-square than I like (the spec is 0.078 max and they seems to be right at that limit by my somewhat crude measurements). The engine has 130,000 miles and was overheated once (hence this rebuild) so I'd really prefer to replace them. The cam and valvetrain are stock.

I've searched the internet and local auto shops for stock valve springs and no success so far. All I can find is aftermarket springs by Edelbrock, Crane, Ford Racing, etc. The local Ford dealer even said he couldn't get them. Can anyone help me?

(By the way, the intake and exhaust springs are different and I sure haven't seen that in any of the kits I've been able to find on the internet...)

One of the site's sponsors, RockAuto shows them. Sealed Power, VS718 intake, VS733 exhaust.

The springs are different because the rotator on the exhaust valve is thicker than the standard retainer on the intake, so it requires the exhaust spring to be shorter. You don't see this with the aftermarket springs because they usually require the use of matched aftermarket retainers that eliminate the exhaust valve rotator.

Thanks TigerDan! I ordered them this morning and the prices were great. At the same time I ordered some other parts I needed (motor mounts, radiator etc) at better prices than I've found anywhere else. Rock Auto looks very promising.

Internet forums like these are great for online research. Thanks again.

I've bought from them, before they ever became a site sponsor. I was impressed with their prices and they carry a lot of good stuff. Yeah, I like 'em!

I think that he allready tried there... Guess they dont carry parts for a 13 year old engine, thats been almost the same for 50 years (i think, first one was in late 50s... right?)

I don't know why they didn't have them, all I can figure was a parts guy who didn't have a clue what he was doing. But the different size valve springs with the exhaust valve rotator only date back to the mid-eighties, the earlier engines had the convetional retainers. And these engines date back to 1962, with the introduction of the 221 in the Fairlane. So that's almost late 50s...
