Idle Speed Adjustment

I recently installed an auxiliary idle controller in my 95 PSD. I bought it on ebay for a hundred bucks. So far it is working fine, but the main reason I bought it, I cant get it to work right....... The main reson I bought it was to increase my idle speed at startup using my remote start feature. If I set the controller when the truck is running and then shut the engine off, when I restart the engine the AIC has to be reset to increase the idle speed (toggle switch off then on again)..... I recently installed an Audiovox Prestige APS785 security system with remore start, The remote start feature works fine except on cold mornings when the engine needs a little throttle to idle evenly, then when I start it remotely it idles irratically for a few seconds then cuts off. (the glow plugs are activating before startup so that is not the problem) ....... what I really need is for the AIC to be active on startup with the remote control, this will give the added throttle needed to run the engine smoothly until warmup. Does anyone know how I can rewire the AIC for activation during startup....... Would really appreciate your advice.

OK since no one was knowledgeable enough to assist me, I screwed around with it and figured it out for myself ............ The yellow wire from the AIC that goes to the brown wire of the throttle connection is the power input wire for the AIC (12+V) ....... I simply disconnected this wire and connected it to the accessory wire of the main harness.... now when the vehicle starts it resets the AIC by way of power off at start/cranking mode, power on at run. works beautifully. Hopefully this may help someone else.

Actually Mr. Hunt ....... this AIC has a dial (potentiometer) on it, it can tune the idle from 600 rpm all the way up to wide open throttle and any speed in between.

Soutthpaw .......... What you need to do is disconnect the yellow wire from the brown wire of the throttle harness ....... connect the yellow wire from the AIC to the Accessory wire in the main harness under the dash ........ Then leave the activation switch of the AIC on at all times. The on off action of the accessory wire will cut on and off the AIC switch....... you'll have to leave the dial set at the position that you want it to start at......... It works, It is certainly working for me.
