Chopped glass source?

I am toying with the idea of chopping my 55 F-100 and was wondering what to do about getting a windshield for it. Does anyone manufacture a shorter windshield? Or do I need to find a competent local glass shop?

I don't know of anyone making an already chopped windshield. If they did, they would have to make it from a stock one. Your best bet (and what everyone else has to do) is find a competent local shop.

Ask them who owns the glass if they break it. They guy that says "I don't break them" is your guy. All the others will have long stories and/or forms about liability.

Or do like they did on the Foose and Fat fenders 56's truck and take the front of the chop out of the cowl below the windshield and drop it down without cutting it.
